2016 saw me undertake a Graduate Diploma in Professional Bi-cultural Supervision. Kaitiakitanga.
To be a Kaitiaki is to be a guardian and a guide.
The process and practise of this is Kaitiakitanga.
This term is usually used in relationship to the environment and the planet. It also applies to the people on this planet, by understanding that we don't need 'supervision' from an authority, but guidance and guardianship from another's state of marama - clarity.
I will be that clarity while you find your own way through your issue.
You have the answers within.
If you are in the therapy and/or the healing field I highly recommend that you consider this support.
If your clients are pushing your triggered buttons, we can defuse that.
If you are feeling overworked and overwhelmed, we can define boundaries.
If you are feeling another's pain, we can work through that.
If you cannot say "no", we can investigate why.
When we work with other people's issues, we are exposed to and challenged by our own. That is fine when we can find the support to work through our own shadows.
If we don't have that kaitiaki in our life, we can become entangled, and that is dangerous to all.
